Research interests
(1) organic/inorganic superabsorbent composites; (2) Modification of clay minerals and their applications;
(3) Chemistry of chitin, chitosan and their derivatives; (4) functional adsorbent materials.

1. Prize, patents and treatise
During the past several years, Prof. Aiqin Wang has won seven provincial or ministerial result prizes, applied for 37 patents (12 of them have been authorized) and published approximately 200 papers in peer reviewed journals.
